Here is a review from a happy owner of the book
I’m a raw vegan and have, over the course of the last couple of years, accumulated close to 40 books on everything from recipes to reference books to case histories. I have my favorites, of course, but this one trumps them all. It was instant love and I refer to it almost constantly now. It is not just for those who want to detox. It has recipes that are useful at whatever phase of raw vegan you are at from dabbler to beginner to veteran and THE RECIPES ARE FANTASTIC.
Adam has done his homework because all relevant medical and scientific justifications are present but not used in the mind-numbing instant sleep fashion that many of these books are written in. He has bridged the gaps between chef, scientist and garden variety human being in his manner of addressing a subject that is typically hard to access.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in raw, no matter what phase of belief or adherence you are at, but especially to anyone new who is entering the world of raw as a newbie.
