The inspiration for the book was born from a passion for homemade recipes that have been handed down through her family’s enchanting heritage. Antonia was brought up a vegetarian and has lived on the organic farm at Rocky Ridge for most of her life. She has always been involved in her family restaurant but wanted to do things slightly differently and hence opened Leafy Greens Café, after traveling the USA extensively and studying nutrition and health. Her passion and love for eating well and making good food will carry her family legacy on for generations to come.
This book comprises of recipes from the increasingly well-known Leafy Greens Café, which shares its premises with the famed Casalinga Restaurant. The book shares some of the exciting delights that have helped make Leafy Greens Café into a well-respected and celebrated vegan-friendly, plant-based seasonal food getaway. Recipes From Our Organic Garden is a collection of exciting recipes showcasing the years of collective knowledge and experience Antonia has acquired.
